Join us at Mulberry Park on Saturday as competitive football returns with a home fixture against Woodbridge Town.

Pre-Season has officially come to an end and our attention turns to the beginning of a new league campaign. The First Team will be looking to build on an impressive 2023-24 season which saw us reach the play-off final, finishing runners-up to Newmarket Town who were promoted alongside league winners Mildenhall Town.

Stowmarket Town, Great Yarmouth Town and Cornard United are the newcomers to the Premier Division. We have came up against Yarmouth and Cornard during our time in Division One North but it will be our first competitive meetings against Stowmarket so 9th November and 15th February are dates to mark on your calendar.

Tommo and Selfy were delighted that the entire squad that ended the season have all been retained and are joined by some new additions. Chris Skipper has joined from Dereham Town where he was captain and will bring leadership, a winning mentality and proven quality at centre half. He is joined by another commanding defender in the form of Fraser Field who joins from Fakenham Town. We would like to welcome both to the club.

Thank you to all who attended our pre-season fixtures. Your support is greatly appreciated as always and we will look forward to seeing you back at Mulberry Park from Saturday as we take on Woodbridge Town in the league opener. Season Tickets are still available to purchase and we also have some player sponsorship opportunities remaining. Email mwfcmedia@gmail.com for more information.

As you will know, the games come thick and fast at the start of the season as we end July with a trip to Dereham Town on Tuesday 30th. This is followed by 6 fixtures in August including an FA Cup tie away to Ely City on 3rd August and an FA Vase tie at home to Godmanchester Rovers.

There's lots to look forward to so let's see where the season takes us.

Up the Mully!
