Wanderers travel to Laundry Lane on Saturday aiming to record a third away victory in as many weeks against a St Andrews side that will have been boosted by yesterday's news that Steve Thompson has returned to his role as First Team Manager.
The game also serves up a milestone for Danny Self and Ben Thompson who will be taking charge of their 50th game in all competitions since taking over at the beginning of last season.
Current Record (49 Games)
W - 32
D - 7
L - 10
GF - 105
GA - 63
Skipper Mark Sutcliffe has featured in all but one of those games. Thompson and Altay lead the way in terms of goals as both have found the net 18 times.
Team News
Two changes from the team that made the trip to Scole last week as Daegan Watts and Danny Bland return to the matchday squad. Charlie Aulert will be hoping to keep his starting spot from last week as he prepares to face his former club.
Our Opponents
St Andrews have experienced a tough start to the new campaign and currently occupy 15th place in the table after losing five of their seven league games in what has been a testing period for the club. However, it is still early days and a good run of form would see them climb the table, especially if they can win their games in hand.
One man who is not struggling for form is Sam Whiting who has scored 10 in 10 so far this season and he will provide the biggest goalscoring threat alongside last seasons top scorer Ryan Pye.
